Time for Photo Fun continues here on the blog with more from my Childhood Days (see post below). I hesitate to show some of these photos because I seemed to have lost some of the cute factor as I grew older! :) But, because you might get a kick out of them, here goes!

Back in the days of Easter bonnets, my sisters and I proudly sported ours (above – Debbie on the left and Janice on the right). And then…

…a year or so later, we sported them again — though Debbie and I exchanged bonnets, trying to capture a fresh look. Don’t ask me about my bangs, please :)

After the trauma of having to wear the same Easter bonnets too many years in a row, we turned into these very solemn sisters…

…but smiles were restored a few years later, even though I look more awkward than ever! :)

And just so you get a true picture of who I was — no, I wasn’t always wearing an Easter bonnet or behaving all ladylike in a dress — here I am with my junior high softball team being my own ornery self. I’m the 2nd from the right on the front row, ready to burst into laughter at any moment. Yep, I was always the crazy one. Still am, for that matter… :)

I love you so much that I am delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but my life as well, because you have become so dear to me. (my paraphrase of 1 Thessalonians 2:8)

p.s. In the photo above, Debbie is behind me to my left.

p.p.s. And yes, I have three sisters, but my baby sister Carolyn didn’t come along until I was almost through the 8th grade! :)

  1. Not sure what’s wrong, Elece. It’s showing up for me. And I am very little help when it comes to techie issues :) Maybe if you shut your computer off and restart? Sometimes that helps with various issues…
