A Break for Me, Some Blessings for You

Oxeye Daisy

Hey friends, I need to take a short blogging break while I attend to some other important matters, but I’ll be back in the blogging saddle again next week on Thursday October 3rd. I hope that God blesses you in all kinds of wonderful ways in the meantime.

In fact, I’d like to pray a few blessings over us all straight from the Word of God. Even though we may be absent from one another at times, our God never leaves us. He is never absent. Luxuriate in his blessing today, friends!

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us,” Psalm 67:1

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14

May God give you of heaven’s dew and of earth’s richness— an abundance of grain and new wine.” Genesis 27:28

“From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.” Psalm 3:8

“May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

  1. Love the blessings. Thanks for the reminders. :-)

  2. Cheryl, I really did enjoy reading and accepting all those blessings , one after the other. Thank you and thank God. Norma

  3. Thanks, Jennifer. Have been working mainly on my book project and getting ready for a conference but also got some pieces ready to submit to Blue Mountain Arts. Always stuff to do! :) Blessing to you and yours!

  4. Dear Cheryl – Thank you for sharing such beautiful blessings. Recently I have been blessed by the opportunity to spend time with my family. I am truly grateful for every cherished moment. Hope you have a blessed and productive blogging break.

    • Thank you, Mairead. I attended a writers conference in Michigan so my break has been a whirlwind — but a good whirlwind. An editor and some agents showed interest in my book so that was very exciting. So glad you’ve been able to spend time with your family. A cherished time for you indeed!
