Breaking in a Son-in-Law 101

Thought you might enjoy getting a peek at how Don put our soon-to-be son-in-law to work on the Fourth of July. I’ve never seen him stand on the ice cream freezer before and make someone else crank it :)

Have a great rest of the week!

*Time for Photo Fun will continue for the next several weeks while we prepare for the wedding and then recoup and take some time off for awhile. Hope you enjoy!

  1. Love it! :) Can’t believe you guys still have a crank freezer but now that Don has some son-in-laws he may never get an electric one.

  2. Cheryl,

As a child that was MY job. My daddy stacked newspapers and and a towel on top of the churn. My job was to sit on it and hold it still while he cranked it.

It’s a powerful memory for me.

Blessings on the next few weeks of your life!

  3. I used to have to sit on the crank freezer too!! : )

  4. Thoughts and prayers for you in this time of preparation. Enjoy these days, Cheryl. We’ll see you on the other side of wedding bells!
