Blogging Break For Me, Blessings For You

Hey friends, I’ll be taking a summer blogging break during July but will be back in the blogging saddle again on Tuesday Aug. 4th. I hope that God blesses you in all kinds of wonderful ways in the meantime.

In fact, I’d like to pray a few blessings over you straight from the Word of God. Even though we may be absent from one another at times, our God never leaves us. He is never absent. Luxuriate in his blessing today, friends!

Blessings from the Word of God (NIV):

“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us—” Psalm 67:1

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13:14

May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness— an abundance of grain and new wine.” Genesis 27:28

“From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.” Psalm 3:8

“May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

  1. Hi Cheryl,

Thank you for those prayer blessings. My grandpa used to pray the Aaronic blessing over us from Deuteronomy, which reminds me of the Psalm 67:1.

How are you and your family? Enjoy this July month off! :)

    • Jennifer, so good to hear from you! My family and I have been so fortunate thus far during the COVID crisis and am so very thankful for that. Don and I have both had some health challenges this past year but looking forward to a better year — if the pandemic will calm down! :) Hope you and yours are doing well too. Blessings!
